It Must Have Been Love

So my boyfriend just enlisted in the army yesterday. He goes to take his physical and everything today and tomorrow and if all goes well, he gets sworn in on Tuesday of next week. I’m really happy for him to finally be doing something that he wants to do, but I’m also really freaking out because he chose a somewhat dangerous job working with bombs and that means his job training is really long too. I’m used to seeing him almost every single day, and now I’m going to go how many months and then years without seeing him or hardly even getting to talk to him. I’ve never had to deal with anything like this before. so please if anyone has any advice on what I could be doing to make this transition easier on our relationship, let me know.
